Tammy Dotson

Sr Consultant

Tammy grew up in a military family before serving in the Air Force for 23 years and retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.  Her skills were honed through more than two decades as a leader and logistics officer in the military, where she quickly became a recognized expert in evolving strategic logistics operations, building diverse teams, and revamping multi-million-dollar project/program structures within a military environment.

To accomplish her goals, she had to build, foster, and maintain strategic relationships with senior military executives, political diplomats, and civilian officials.  During her military service, she taught Leadership and Strategy at the graduate level and facilitated Suicide Prevention and Violence Awareness training for over 10,000 military personnel.  Tammy brings a wealth of consulting experience as a keynote speaker, trainer, and transformation coach specializing in leadership, team building, and communication.  She also successfully owns her own business.

As a people-focused servant, leader, and team builder, Tammy knows first-hand how communication and leadership are keys to business effectiveness and growth.  She defines success as helping others reach their full potential and breaking through the status quo and combines her experience, knowledge, and outgoing personality to create customized solutions for individuals and organizations. Her holistic approach helps people discover their authentic selves and grow into leaders while also transforming workplaces into spaces where inclusivity and understanding thrive.

Tammy has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Howard University (cum laude), a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a Master of Military Operational Art and Science from the Air University. She is certified in training, speaking, and coaching by John Maxwell Leadership, as well as human behavior analysis in the Maxwell method of DISC (Dominance, Influence, Steadfastness, and Influence). She holds a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate from the University of South Florida and has traveled the world, lived in seven different countries, and worked with many different nationalities to build teams united in one mission.
